Change is in the Air

Where does the time go? Another year down – thousands of children showing off their Samba Soccer skills – 2024 is nearly upon us. This year has been an extraordinary one at Samba Soccer Schools, and we can’t wait to see everybody back in January raring to go.

What’s changing at Samba Soccer Schools?

We wanted to tell you a little more about one of the changes that we’ll be rolling out in 2024.
We are delighted to announce that we are adding six new football classes during the summer period. We’d love to say that it was all our idea, but we’ve got to be honest; this was a consistent part of customer feedback throughout 2023.

So, by popular demand, we’re adding those six extra classes to our yearly schedule that will neatly coincide with the school summer holidays. We’ll keep your children training in that much-loved Brazilian style throughout the entire year.

Why we love your idea

We believe these classes will:

Help your child stay active during the summer months
Help them maintain their progress (it’s astonishing how much gets lost when you’re away for six weeks)
Improve overall skills with an added focus on ball mastery & 1v1 skills
Help to maintain friendship groups and keep children socialising while away from school

What does this mean for cost?

For us to run these additional classes, there will be a slight adjustment to the pricing structure. Effective from January 2024, the price of your membership will be slightly increasing. We deeply value your loyalty and believe this small increase is a fair reflection of the enhanced services and additional classes your child will benefit from.

Additionally, as a gesture of appreciation to you, our existing members, we have decided to limit the price increase by only a few pounds. Any members that signed up for a 12 month plan since the start of September are already being charged £47.99 per month. However, our existing members on the 12 month plan will only be charged £42.99 per month from the New Year. Please note that your price increase may vary depending on what membership plan you are on.
We understand that any price hike during this challenging period isn’t ideal, but we wanted to express our gratitude to you for continuing to be a part of our community and entrusting us with your child’s football journey.

What’s the silver lining?

There is actually some good news here. Despite the monthly price increasing, your cost per class has decreased! Previously, using our 12-month membership plan at £39.99/month as an example, each of the 36 classes in a 12-month period would cost £13.33. However, even though you will pay £42.99 per month, you will pay £12.28 per class, as you get 42 classes in the same 12-month period.

Previous Pricing:

£39.99 per month for 36 classes in a 12-month period
Equivalent to £13.33 per class

New Pricing:

£42.99 per month for 42 classes in a 12-month period
Equivalent to £12.28 per class

We are confident that this pricing update means we can provide you with better value and more opportunities for your child to develop their football skills. The request for extra classes during the summer months was so frequent and across so many of our locations that we felt it was a no-brainer. We hope the trade-off for such a slight monthly price increase is well worth it.

FAQ

When does this increase begin?

The first payment on your new prices will come in from the 1st of January 2024

Will my membership’s expiry date change?

Your membership’s expiration date will remain the same despite the price changes. For example, if you registered for a 12-month plan at the start of April 2023, your last month before renewal will be March 2024.

What will my new price be?

Your new price will be sent to you via the email you have registered with us. The increase will depend on which membership you are currently on.

We’re going away during the Summer Holidays, so my child cannot attend all the extra classes, will my price still increase?

All memberships will increase to the new prices sent to you in your email. If you cannot attend any classes in the Summer, you must email us in advance with the dates you will not be able to attend.
