We’re searching for dedicated and experienced individuals to take on the role of Venue Manager, a pivotal position that reinforces our high standards in our classes.

As a Venue Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of Samba Soccer Schools by maintaining and enhancing the quality of our football classes at designated venues across London.

What does the role include?

Here is an overview of the key responsibilities and areas our Venue Managers will oversee:

Quality of Classes

As a Venue Manager, you’ll ensure high coaching standards by conducting quality control assessments, providing feedback to coaches, and maintaining efficiency in every class.

Practical Assessments

You will conduct hands-on practical assessments with potential new coaches, evaluate their performance, and provide detailed feedback to management ensure they meet our rigorous coaching standards.

Onboarding & Training

You will be responsible for the onboarding of new coaches, using our comprehensive training checklist to ensure they are fully prepared to deliver high-quality coaching. You will also mentor pathway coaches, helping them develop into full-fledged Samba Soccer coaches.

Emergency Coaching

You will act as the first point of contact for any coaching emergencies at your venue. You will be responsible for covering sessions when a coach is absent, ensuring that classes continue smoothly.

KPI’s

You will oversee and review data from KPIs, which include retention rates, customer conversions, class occupancy and NPS results. Your performance and success will be measured and rewarded based on these metrics.

Safety & Safeguarding

You will serve as the safeguarding lead at your venue, ensuring all activities are conducted safely. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Paid Training

You will be expected to attend two hours of paid training every half term, where you will receive updates on coaching techniques, company policies, and strategies to improve your venue’s performance.

Operational Management

You’ll manage class registers, ensure equipment is safe, handle session music, conduct equipment checks, and communicate with the office to relay issues and updates for smooth operations. supporting sales, You’ll also build relationships with site managers to ensure a harmonious working space.

Community Engagement

You’ll be the main contact for parents and trialists, providing membership info and sharing offers. You’ll build your venue’s profile by collecting reviews and distribute medals and certificates to foster community and recognition.

Competitive Salary

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £18, with opportunities for additional earnings through our commission program based on your performance in retention and customer conversion.

Commission 

Venue Managers will be eligible for rewards every six weeks based on two key performance areas: retention rates of existing customers and conversion rates from trial attendees to fully paying members.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum FA Level 1 in coaching football
  • Enhanced DBS certification
  • First Aid qualification
  • Safeguarding training and certification (preferable)
  • Football coaching experience (essential)
  • Proximity to your designated venue
  • Leadership/Management experience
