1. Term:
The term of a 12-month plan shall be 12 months from the date of
your first monthly instalment and shall be subject to auto-renewal. If you wish to stop this renewal, you must
provide a minimum of one month's notice prior to the expiry of the 12 months.
2. What is included in the Plan?
Your 12-month membership plan includes the following:
- 39 classes at one of our venues, to be organised across the
span of 12 months;
- One Free SSS uniform (t-shirt, shorts, and socks)
- Exclusive access to our end-of-year tournament! All details will be sent to you at the start of the Summer term,
along with an RSVP form.
3. Fees:
- Date of Payment: Date of Payment:
Your monthly membership fees shall become due on the first day of each month unless agreed otherwise by
us, either in writing or on the phone with one of our representatives.
- Automatic Renewal:
You agree to a 12-month membership plan from the date of confirmation. After the expiry of the 12 months,
your 12-month plan shall be automatically renewed and will keep renewing perpetually after the expiration of
each 12-month plan unless you cancel your membership by giving at least one-month advanced notice to us
before the renewal date, either by email or phone.
- Commencement of Membership:
If you enrol your child during a month, you will be charged only for the remaining lessons of that month.
Your membership plan will commence on the first day of the following month.
For example, suppose you enrolled on 18th January and two more classes remain in January. In that case, you
will be charged for those two lessons only, and your membership will commence on the 1st of February.
- Monthly Payments & Breakdown of Costs:
The monthly membership fees are designed to accumulate the cost of 39 lessons in a 12 month period, and then
divided into 12 monthly instalments to make it affordable and convenient to our customers. Therefore, you
will be charged a fixed monthly fee, and this includes those months where there may be no lessons but also
includes those months where there may be more lessons to compensate for the months in which there are fewer
or no lessons.
As an example, each class under the 12-month plan is charged at £12.30. There are 39 classes organised
across a span of 12 months. The annual membership fee, therefore, totals £479.88. This fee is divided into
12 monthly payments of £39.99.
- Rates & Discounts:
The determination of fees shall depend on the number of students a customer chooses to enrol on our
programme. If a customer chooses to enrol two or more students, then they shall be entitled to a
proportionate discount based on our calculations.
- Joining Fee:
All membership plans are subject to a one-off joining fee of £30, which covers your registration and set-up
fees. The Joining Fee is collected together with your first payment. Discounts are provided for bookings
with multiple students. The determination of fees shall depend on the number of students you choose to
enroll in our classes. If a customer chooses to enroll two students, then they shall be entitled to a £5
discount per child. If a customer chooses to enroll three students, then they shall be entitled to a £10
discount per child.
- Tournament:
Our Summer Tournament is exclusive to Samba Soccer Schools members. It will take place in August, with full
details being sent to you at the start of the Summer Term. To attend the tournament, you must pay a £10
cover charge via an RSVP form that will be sent to your email closer to the time. Please note that there are
limited spaces, so bookings will be done on a first come, first-served basis.
4. When can we cancel this agreement
This agreement shall be liable for immediate cancellation on
the occurrence of any of the following events:
- Your child has been expelled from the soccer school for
misconduct.
- The child’s parent(s), guardian or supervisor is expelled
from the soccer school for misconduct.
5. Termination
- You are prohibited from cancelling your membership plan during the 12 months.
- You may terminate your membership plan by giving us at
least one-month prior notice of your intention to terminate before the expiry of 12 months, either by
calling our team on 07923 996664 or emailing us at essex@sambasoccerschools.com. Please note that failure to
give 1-month prior notice shall result in the automatic renewal of your plan to another 12-month plan, and
this cycle of auto-renewal shall remain in operation for perpetuity.
- Even in the event of exceptional circumstances, all
cancellations require a notice period before the direct debit can be cancelled. The notice period will
include a full payment for the agreed-upon period. If your notice period is one month, you will be charged
the full membership fee for the final month rather than a prorated amount based on remaining sessions. For
example, if you submit your cancellation notice on April 5th, the final payment will be processed on May
1st, after which your membership will be cancelled.
- For exceptional circumstances, cancellation requests
must be formally submitted via email to essex@sambasoccerschools.com or by calling 07923 996664. Informing a
coach or missing sessions will not cancel your membership. You must contact our head office directly to
finalise your cancellation.
6.Charges
We charge the following fees in addition to the regular
monthly fees:
- *£10 administration fee if you do not make your monthly
payment on time.
- *£50 administration fee if you cancel your mandate with
your bank during the subsistence of your membership period without informing us. This does not include the
payout fee. See section 7.
- £10 admittance fee to the Summer Tournament. See section
3g.
7.Payout
- You are permitted to cancel your membership plan at any
point, provided you pay out the remaining months of your contract.
As an example, if you have completed 3
months of your 12-month plan of £39.99 per month and decide to cancel, you must pay the remaining 9 months'
balance of £359.91 to close your account.
- We do accept that there may be exceptional circumstances
exempt from this policy. In these cases, you must write to us at essex@sambasoccerschools.com. We will review
this and make a decision within 7 working days.
8. Refund Policy
You are entitled to cancel your membership plan and receive a
full refund of any fees paid within 7 days of your confirmation email from us. Outside of this 7 day period, we
have a strict no-refund policy for any missed sessions.
9. Credited Sessions
If a session is cancelled by Samba Soccer Schools due to bad
weather, venue issues, or any other unforeseen circumstances, a credit will be added to your membership. These
credits can be redeemed for additional sessions at the end of your membership term at no extra cost. More details

Credits are not offered for students who are absent from classes unless in exceptional circumstances as referred
to in section 7b.
To use your credits, you must request them before your membership renewal date; otherwise, your membership will
renew as usual. Credits cannot be claimed if the membership is cancelled before the end of the agreed term.
10. Freezing the Membership
If your child is unable to attend sessions for an extended
period due to injury or other exceptional circumstances, you may request to freeze the membership for up to two
months. After this period, the membership will automatically resume.
11. SSS Uniform
It is compulsory for each child to wear our free uniform
during their classes. Compulsory clothing items include:
- 1. SSS T-shirt
- 2. SSS Shorts
- 3. SSS Socks
Additional items are optional but are advised, especially if
your child’s lesson takes place outdoors. Any additional items will incur a charge. Uniform orders should be made

12. GENERAL
- Cancellation of Sessions
Samba soccer sessions are only cancelled if the facilities are closed by the venue provider, or if lightning
or heavy rain exists during classes taking place outdoors, or if the trainer is medically unfit. You will be
notified via text message on the day the session is taking place (or earlier) if your lesson will be
cancelled. In the event of cancellation due to any of the aforesaid reasons, the lesson will be added as a
credit. See section 9 for more info.
- Term Dates
It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to keep up with the soccer school term dates. The term dates are
published on the ‘Find a Class’ section on our website www.sambasoccerschools.com/find-a-class. Once the
user locates their class, they will be presented with the full year's term dates.
- Contact Details
It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to inform us of any changes to their contact details, including
their email address or phone number. Failure to do so may result in key notices not being delivered,
including any possible class cancellations.
- Absence
Samba Soccer Schools do not offer any refunds or credits for students who are absent from classes unless in
exceptional circumstances as referred to in section 7b.
- Newsletter Subscription
By signing up for our classes, you will be automatically subscribed to our newsletter list where we shall
provide you with the most up-to-date offers, updates and news stories.
- Consent for Photographs and Videography
By enrolling your child in our classes, you accept that photographs and videos may be taken during our
sessions. These videos and photos may be used in future publications such as Samba Soccer leaflets, flyers,
websites, social media and other promotional material. If you would not like your child to be included in
any photos or videography, you must write to us via email at essex@sambasoccerschools.com.
- Photography at our sessions
Parents are permitted to take photos during our sessions only for the purposes of that personal use, family
or household affairs as specified by Section 36 of the Data Protection Act 1998.
- Zero tolerance policy
Samba Soccer Schools operates a zero-tolerance policy on racism, bullying or intimidation. Any instances of
this behaviour may lead to expulsion from the course, and no refund will be offered. Furthermore, the soccer
school reserves the right to remove any disruptive children or parents from the course.
- Personal Property & Responsibility
Neither the Soccer Schools, Coaches nor the host venue will accept responsibility for any loss or damage
during the course, whether to person or property. Samba Soccer Schools shall not be responsible for any
children left unsupervised outside of our class hours.
- Offers and Discounts
By signing up for our courses, you will automatically be placed on our newsletter list where you can keep up
to date on our latest offers and discounts. Please note that our offers and discounts are subject to the
