Dear Parent,

Our staff, students and parents are all part of the SSS family and we want to let you know that during these uncertain times, we are here for you. The health and wellbeing of our students is always our first priority.

Following the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), it is with great sadness to announce we will be temporarily suspending all classes, starting from today, Wednesday 18th March 2020.

We care too much about the SSS community to put anyone at risk. We desperately wanted to be able to continue to deliver our wonderful sessions throughout the crisis and to be able to put a smile on children’s faces during these distressing times. However, it has become apparent that it would be impossible to run classes without compromising safety and quality.

I can confirm that your membership has now been frozen from the date of this letter. This means you will not incur any charges going forward. Once the situation is under control and it becomes safe again for children to attend classes, we will reactivate your membership and notify you via email and text.

In an effort to help families during these stressful times, we are working on some fun football-related home activity packs and challenges so your child can continue to learn with us, even if the doors of our classes are currently closed. Please look out for these packs via email.

It is also important to us that you are looking after yourself. Reading the news is good to keep yourself updated but be mindful that it can also cause unnecessary anxiety. Stick to the facts from the NHS. Whilst you should be looking after your physical health, don’t forget to take care of your mental health as well.
In the meantime, if there is anything we can assist with, please feel free to contact us.

Our small but mighty SSS family will pull together through this and will come out even stronger than before and when this is all over we will rise again and celebrate the reopening of our Samba Soccer classes.

For now, we sincerely wish good health for you and your family during these uncertain times.

Stay safe,

Nilio Bagga
