We understand how the world works. We offer competitive rates compared with other football schools and pathway options that can lead to further development and positions. Two coaching positions are available, with rates ranging between £14 and £18 for new starters.

We provide ongoing training and support for all our coaches, whether teaching the latest ideas emerging from the football world or simply answering some nagging questions.

Plans
We want all our coaches to focus on the coaching, so we provide everybody with our detailed and comprehensive syllabus – meaning every lesson is planned and fully taken care of before you even step onto the pitch. This saves you a huge amount of planning time and ensures a degree of uniformity, meaning every child passing through the Samba Soccer Schools learns the same skills, and nobody gets left behind.

Football coaching should be all about fun, but too often, it becomes stale too quickly. We teach children to play football with a genuine love of the game, with passion and excitement – and as a coach, it’s impossible not to get caught up in all the fun. The process
Working for Samba Soccer Schools involves passing through a two-stage recruitment process.
Once you’ve filled in the form at the bottom of this page, and provided you meet the required criteria, a member of our recruitment team will contact you within 48 hours to set up a telephone interview.
This is a reasonably informal chat to get to know you a little better, and we will ask you questions about your coaching experience, playing experience, qualifications and availability. The telephone interview is also the perfect time to ask any questions you might have, either about the rest of the recruitment process or the position itself. So if there’s anything on your mind, feel free to ask. This is about you getting to know us just as much as vice versa.
After the phone interview, you will be invited to a coaching session with children signed up with Samba Soccer Schools and asked to take the session yourself.
We will provide you with a complete lesson plan for the session beforehand so you can prepare and plan ahead of time. The key areas we look for are your ability to communicate clearly, your tone and enthusiasm and your ability to demonstrate skills.

To ensure that nobody is wasting anybody’s time, please read our eligibility criteria. You must meet these requirements before you can apply, otherwise, your application could be rejected before the interview stage.
The football coaching position you are applying for is either for the Lead Coach or Head Coach role. Both roles will involve you delivering football classes for children between the ages of 4 and 12 years according to our coaching syllabus and in line with the school’s playing philosophy.
